A pictorial featuring places in Singapore during the 1950s and 1960s.
Additional Notes - Old Parliament House originally private residence of Scottish merchant JA Maxwell. Was leased to British Govt and used as Court House. In 1953, was refurbished and used as Legislative Assembly. Renamed Parliament House in 1965.
Nanyang University was merged with Univ of Spore to form NUS in 1980.
Van Kleef Aquarium was closed owing to poor attendance after "Underwater World" opened in Sentosa. Was demolished in 1996.
