Outward has all kinds of cool weapons. The Ornate Bone Shield is probably one of the best shields. It looks really cool and inflicts haunted which can be used with torment to explode enemies. I can be grabbed only after completing the 3rd part of your faction quest. Once the Necropolis is finally open you should be able to head down there and defeat some ghosts and skeletons. Grab 4 blue skulls and take them to an odd man. He is going a bit mad but will hand over the Ornate Bone Shield. Consider using this if you are ever looking for good impact and a powerful shield.
Outward is an RPG/survival game that allows you take to make an almost infinite number of builds. Melee, magic, archery, and even traps are scattered across this harsh world in the form of skills. You must have a large amount of money to purchase these skills, but luckily the monsters drop extremely valuable items. The game has been harshly criticized due to how realistic and difficult it is.
