The grounds and surrounding area of Honmonji Temple in Shimotakase, Mino-cho, Mitoyo City.
The Daiboichi festival, which has been going on since the Edo period, is looked forward to by the locals, and was actually a memorial service for the anniversary of Nichiren Shonin's death. It was very lively with street performances and puppet theater.
So, I went to Yaya-dera Temple, which I had not visited since I had come this far. The reason I didn't get angry was because I didn't drive to the top because I had to pay for parking. 😂
This time I was stingy and walked up about 600 steps. Although it was quite difficult for an old man, I was relieved that the mountain tit took care of me.
