Glaciers in the Alps from the last ice age to 2100

During the last glacial cycle glaciers covered large parts of the Alps. This film presents a state-of-the-art simulation showing the multiple advances and retreats of glaciers in the European Alps starting 120'000 year ago, followed by the retreat of the Aletsch Glacier expected during the 21st century.
