Points Lines Rays (Virginia SOL 3.15) - Mr. Pearson Teaches 3rd Grade

This video is designed to help students learn to identify geometric figures such as points, lines, line segments, rays, and angles.  Key vocabulary is covered and there are practice problems as well.  All the key concepts of VA SOL 3.15 are covered in this video.

Being able to classify and describe solid figures is an important skill for students to master.  This video teaches and reviews the key vocabulary (face, edge, vertex) and describes each of the six common solid figures (cube, cone, square pyramid, rectangular prism, sphere, and cylinder).  It is a great review for VA SOL 3.14.
