Montessori Activities for your 2 year old that spark a love for learning! These varied Montessori activities for 24, 25, 26, and 27 month old toddlers introduce cover all major areas such as language, math, science, practical life, sensorimotor, and art development. Whether your toddler is fascinated with gross motor development, role playing, open-ended play, or Montessori shelf work, there's an activity idea here for them!
See how capable your 2-year-old is! Observe and follow your child's interests through these Montessori play ideas. Remember that Montessori at Home does not need to be expensive! You may be surprised by the types of Montessori activities that you can create with what you have at home and will keep your toddler engaged.
We take a look at many Montessori activities for our 24-27 month old toddlers in this video, but keep in mind that the Montessori activities we discussed for 21-23 month olds, and even earlier, will still be applicable at this age! Our children are continuing to perfect those skills, while discovering new ones. Think of these Montessori play ideas as additional activities to add to your toy rotation, without displacing the Montessori activity ideas from previous videos.
