Rice Berry is an amazing rice it's tasty and so so good for you. Rice berry is loaded with vitamins and minerals outshining brown rice. Rice berry has been shown to reduce blood sugar and high blood pressure. Notably, Rice berry bran is loaded with powerful antioxidants, anti-inflammatory agents and vital health-promoting compounds that can help to lower the risks from disease. Most impressive of all are the high levels of vitamin B1, B2, B3 and B9 in dark purple Riceberry. Notably, 100g of Riceberry contains 48 µg folate (vitamin B9).This rice really should be a staple on your table.

Here's the recipe:

🟢For the mixed rice:
250g of Jasmine rice
250g of Riceberry rice
Pinch of salt
Water (two and a half containers of water) or up until your first finger joint from the tip of your finger

🟢For the riceberry:
500g of Riceberry rice (two containers worth)
Pinch of salt
Water (four containers of water)


As with all Asian cooking this is a rough guide with regards to amounts, adjust for your own taste and spice tolerance.
If you want to make it spicier then toast birds eye chillies instead of large sweet chilli.
