Let's Talk Janome vs Juki HD Machines - With Kelley Rao

I use true industrial sewing machines for my every day bag making efforts.  But when I go to retreats, we are limited by the machine we can bring or what the retreat offers.  I own two Juki 2010Q's and let me say, they are solid heavy duty machines.  But as bag makers, we really push our machines, especially when it comes to thick layers and different heights (such as when sewing on connectors).  At a recent retreat I was introduced to the Janome HD9 and it really did seem to outshine the Juki 2010Q when it came to thick layers (such as top stitching) or 4-fold straps.

So, while I love my Juki's, I have to say I was pretty impressed with my new HD9 and happy to add her, Jane, to the family!
