Airbus A320 /V2500 IDG Oil and filter servicing

The aircraft engine has a generator,an integrated drive generator which powers aircraft systems.The generator drive mechanism requires lubrication for its fast moving precision parts.Periodically we drain the oil and replace the filters to ensure the generator always performs at its peak and prevent maintenance issues.This is a short video on the steps we take to do it.It does not supercede approved maintenance manuals it’s purely illustrative.#aircraft #aviation #airbus #a320 #oil #idg #v2500#electric #generator
