Paramahansa Yogananda (1893 - 1952) was an Indian yogi and guru, considered one of the greatest emissaries of ancient Indian philosophy. Sent to America in 1920, Yogananda was the first great master from India to live in the West for an extended period.
Through his practical guidance and deep inspiration, Yogananda shows how to eliminate unwanted attitudes and how to know our immense inner power, cultivating new habits to develop your true potential.
“It is not necessary to live all kinds of human experiences to reach the supreme wisdom.
You must be able to learn from the experience of others. Why get involved in a panorama of endless experiences to finally discover that nothing in this world can ever make you happy?
Don't be satisfied with the drops of wisdom from the meager earthly sources; rather, seek the unmeasured wisdom of God's hands, so generous and possessing everything ".

“Those who seek with sincerity, in practice, unlike those who 'search' in their armchairs and waste their lives ruminating on intellectual theories, get excited when thinking about the hard task that lies ahead.
The sincere man in search of the truth says to himself: 'I know that reaching perfection is an arduous task, but I will do everything to reach it. With God's help, success will be mine!'
Meditating tirelessly day after day, he finally becomes aware of the body and regains the perception of the divine blessing within, which he had long lost.”

“The Lord wants us to free ourselves from this illusory world. He cries out for us, because He knows how difficult it is for us to obtain His deliverance. But you have only to remember that you are His child. Don't feel sorry for yourself.
You are loved by God as much as Jesus and Krishna. You have to seek His love, for that brings eternal freedom, endless joy and immortality.
God understands you when no one else understands you. He is the Lover Who always wants you well, no matter what your mistakes are. Others give you affection for a while and then leave you, but He never leaves you. In countless ways, God seeks his love daily.”
