GSPC To Merge With Gujarat Gas, GSPL & Gujarat Energy. Gujarat gas aims to become India's largest integrated gas player. Probal Sen of ICICI Securities tells that Gujarat gas is set to benefit from the merger. He says that the merger of Gujarat gas petroleum corporation will aid Gujarat gas profit. He also tells that the merger will allow the company to utilize tax benefits. He mentions that Gujarat Gas Scheme of arrangements will see regulatory challenges going forward. New entity GSPL Transmission will face tariff challenge.
