Practical demonstration so you can perfectly understand how a doorbell works.
The bell is based on the automatic connection and disconnection of an electromagnet through mechanical procedures.
When the hammer that hits the bell is attracted by the electromagnet, the power circuit is disconnected so that the electromagnet stops attracting said hammer. That hammer returns to its original position, because it is attached to an elastic steel sheet (strap). Upon returning to the initial state, the circuit is closed again, so the electromagnet is activated again and so on, in a continuous state of imbalance.
