In this video I share with you my Log store design fail. If your going to build a wood store or somewhere to store and season firewood then make sure you watch this so you don't do the same mistake as I did.
The whole point of a log store is to dry and season wood. Dry seasoned wood burns better, hotter and cleaner than wet wood.
Building the perfect log store requires the shed or building to be well vented with plenty of air flow. The air flow will help to dry the logs. But it also needs to be dry. You don't want water going into the building and wetting the wood. Wet wood is hard to burn, it produces a lot of smoke and burns with little heat. On top of that it will block your chimney up pretty quick too!
