In this video, I go over how to migrate from one Omada Controller to another. This is done for several reasons (Upgrading the Server, Moving to the cloud, etc...). For the purposes of this video, we will be moving a software-based controller that runs on a dedicated server to an OC200 Omada Hardware Controller using the Site Export feature. To do this we have to update the version of our existing controller before performing the export and import. This video also doubles as a "How to Upgrade Omada Controller" although, I will probably still create a separate video along these lines. 00:00 - Intro 01:14 - Checking the New Controller (Destination) 02:10 - Checking the Existing Controller (Source) 03:00 - Checking the Firmware Versions of both Controllers 03:30 - Downloading Updated Software (and why we need to) 06:07 - Starting to Update Existing Controller (Source) 08:20 - Backing up Controller Before Upgrade (Source) 09:35 - Actually Updating Existing Controller (Source) 10:54 - Export Site from Existing Controller (Source) 12:28 - Importing Site to New Controller (Destination) 14:25 - Migrating Devices from Existing Controller (Source) 16:54 - Forgetting Devices from Existing Controller (Source) 18:00 - Outro and Rambling
