White House briefing gets heated over questions about Biden's health

The White House briefing got heated Monday as press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre clashed with reporters over questions about President Joe Biden's health and ability to lead the federal government. Questions have been swirling about Biden's age and neurological fitness after his terrible performance at the June 27 presidential debate against Donald Trump. When Jean-Pierre sought to quell those concerns Monday, telling reporters the president has only seen a neurologist three times while in office, in conjunction with his annual physicals, reporters pushed back. White House visitor logs show that Dr. Kevin Cannard, a neurologist who has conducted research into Parkinson's, went to the White House eight times between July 2023 and this past March.
