This describes how to get around the INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE error that happens when installing Windows 10 with Boot Camp on a USB 3.0 external SSD. It works by enabling the USB drivers to load early in the Windows boot sequence.
This video assumes you are following the excellent tutorial on the entire process by Roberto Jorge. He did this with a Thunderbolt connection drive, but it can be followed with a USB 3.0 drive with the small change covered in this video.
