Please don't contaminate your green bin

Please only put loose recycling in your green bin or bag.

Please do not put plastic black or other rubbish bags please as these can’t be recycled and contaminates the recycling.

You can put glass jars and bottles, plastic bottles, fruit pots and margarine tubs in your green bin, as well as paper, cardboard, food tins and drinks cans.

Most other household rubbish should go in your brown bin but larger or additional recycling and waste should be taken to one of our recycling centres (the tip).
