Google Classroom has introduced a new feature that allows educators to share their classwork list with other teachers without giving them full access to their Google Classroom. This feature is beneficial for teams that want to collaborate and share assignments or for supporting staff who need to help students understand their tasks better. To share classwork, users simply need to click on the classwork tab at the top of Google Classroom and click on the universal share symbol. When the link is shared, other teachers can see the classwork tab, which includes attached files, instructions, and shared links. However, grades, comments, submissions, and student lists are not visible.
To provide a preview of what the shared teacher sees, users can click on the preview link. Although they cannot view student work, they can access any attachments, instructions, and shared links. Additionally, they can share a specific task by selecting the checkbox and then exporting the classroom. This feature is particularly useful for sharing assignments between different sections or for temporary sharing, as the access via the link can be turned off at any time.
