Talvelle - A Story for Winter | Shortfilm of Winter in the North of Finland

This is my love letter to winter - my favorite time of the year. It's not easy to live in the north of Finland where winter lasts up to eight months a year but there's something magical about this cold, dark, and arctic time. This time gives me a lot of inspiration and challenges me to go out of my comfort zone.

The film is in Finnish but English subtitles are available.

This video also contains a song I made. Another thing winter and this nordic nature inspire me to do - is music. It flows from somewhere deep, usually when I'm out in nature. This song I made for - you guessed it - winter. It can be heard at the beginning of the film and a little at the end. Maybe someday I'll make a full music video for this song and publish it on its own.
