If you purchase a off plan project with a developer here at Dubai you will be getting oqood. Oqood in Arabic means contract, it’s issued by land department and it’s official documents which mean this property is under your name and you can resale it. Later on stage once you get the hand over from the developer you will get pre title deed or titled deed depend on your payment schedule with the developer. If you fully paid the property then you will get titled deed from land department, if you haven’t pay fully then you will get pre title deed, till you complete all payment , title deed still under developer name. And if you buy a ready project with bank mortgage then the title deed will be transferred from developer name to your bank name.
