COBOL: Zoned Decimal and packed decimal

This video shows the format in which numeric data is stored in Zoned decimal (conventional) and packed decimal (COMP-3) format. COMP-3 occupies INT(N+1/2) bytes and thus there is a saving of space however COMP-3 shouldn’t be used for display purposes as it would not make sense If you need a mainframe ID for practice then drop in your email ID in the comments section and I will contact you for the settings and the cost associated with it.
