Twinkling illuminations and special projection mapping to add colour to the Town's winter season The illumination of Tokyo Skytree Town(R) will start on 9 November 2023 (Thursday). The entire town will be illuminated with approximately 460,000 twinkling lights. This year, a new 4-metre sculpture of Sorakara-chan, "twinkle three stars", will make its debut at the Sky Arena, the main illumination spot. In addition, an 8-metre high Christmas tree, a popular photo spot, will be installed. The Christmas Market will also be held this year. The Christmas market will be held again this year in a luxurious hutte with monuments imported from Germany, adding to the Christmas spirit.
