Correction @ 9:53 - I meant to say that "this is why eigrp auto-summarization doesn't support discontiguous networks", instead of the protocol as a whole. If you have no auto-summary enabled (as should be the case by default if you're running any version of IOS 15 / the later versions of IOS 12.4), discontiguous classful networks will not affect the protocol's operation.

In this video, I provide an overview of how EIGRP handles auto-summarization to automatically summarize networks upon injection into EIGRP, a demonstration, and an explanation as to why auto-summarization is worse than manual summarization in a lot of cases.
