Ireta Willoughby trusted Jesus that
Ireta Willoughby trusted Jesus that she would be healed from cancer. When she first experienced symptoms, she was preparing to teach at Faith Life Center in Eastvale, California, where she and her husband Jim serve as pastors. Within a short time, she had a complete hysterectomy and16 lymph nodes removed.
From the beginning of her battle with cancer, Ireta decided to stand on God’s Word by reading and studying it daily. As she took a stand for her healing from cancer, Ireta decided that fear would not control her. She refused to speak or hear anything but what the Word of God says. She spoke Bible scriptures every day, throughout her day. She considered this time of meditating on God’s Word to be a necessary as any medicine. She trusted that God’s Word was true when it says, “My child, pay attention to what I say. Listen carefully to my words. Don’t lose sight of them. Let them penetrate deep into your heart, for they bring life to those who find them, and healing to their whole body” (Proverbs 4:20-22). She also spent time watching Kenneth Copeland Ministries’ channel BVOVN where she tuned in to hear Spirit-led ministers teach about God’s healing power.
Today, Ireta Willoughby celebrates her healing from cancer, and as a Partner with Kenneth Copeland Ministries, she is excited to share her testimony with the world.
