West Bengal Whipping Case: BJP Targets CM Mamata Banerjee, Alleges ‘Taliban-Like Rule’ in State

After the video clip of an assault on a couple from West Bengal went viral and sparked outrage, the opposition BJP in the state has attacked Mamata Banerjee-led TMC government in the state. The BJP is demanding Mamata Banerjee’s resignation. As the BJP and CPM are attacking TMC and Mamata Banejree now over this North Dinajpur district incident, the ruling party has said that it does not support such activities. The party said that the matter will be investigated and anyone else involved would not be spared. BJP is also questioning CM Mamata Banerjee’s commitment to justice and governance. They also slammed CM Mamata Banerjee for not speaking a word on this incident.
