Cottage by the Meadows Closing Down

Yakima’s local hospice center is closing. Cottage in the Meadows, Yakima’s facility which solely provides hospice services, will be closing this month as the parent company multicare health system plans to repurpose the building as a nursing facility. As for the reasoning behind the closure, MultiCare said that the Cottage in the Meadow is no longer financially sustainable.
