Union Budget 2021: First takeaways

While it doesn't paint a glowing picture of India's economy the Union Budget 2021-22 presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is quite prudent according to Indian Express' Udit Misra. The government has to tackle fiscal deficit which is now 3 times the projected figure but doing away from usual populist measures Sitharaman has tried to push investment into productive assets.
