So You Want to Learn to Tank as a Lowbie Warrior?

This is a basic overview of warrior tanking at lower levels. Be aware, aoe tanking is not your domain, that's druid and paladin's. However, that's not to say you cannot, your group just has to gauge their threat and react appropriately. If they pyroblast a thing you're not actively building threat on for example, yeah you're probably not getting that back without a taunt or mocking blow. Preferably your group doesn't mind crowd controlling one or 2 mobs and it'll make the run a whole lot easier. If they insist on "Muh meta aoe" well.....good luck warrior, you'll need it. May just want to bow out of that run. You won't be tanking much if anything. Harsh, but true. It's a TEAM game after all. And if they're not watching their threat, it'll cause many issues for you and the healer. Just protect the healer to the best of your ability. Dps are expendable. Remember damage mitigation is your responsibility as well as threat. Judge the situation and decide on either the 1h+shield or the 2h for threat. Yes, 2h tanking can be a thing, just be smart about when to do so.
