Here's everything you never knew about what you can find in a museum’s storage area. I got the keys to a natural history museum's storage facility. In this video I open 50 storage cabinets and share facts about the interesting animals I find including: butterflies, caterpillars, marine snails, shells, toucans, hummingbirds, whales, walruses, seals, coots, elephants, parrots, narwhals, squirrels, cows, and more.

This video answers all of the following questions:
- Where do museums store their specimens?
- How to preserve a caterpillar?
- Where do museums get animal specimens?
- Where do museums get their animals?
- How many specimens are in a museum?
- What does a museum look like behind the scenes?
- Do cyclops animals exist?
- Where do museums keep their animals?

Specimens used in this video are preserved at the Geier Collections and Research Center. Visit their public museum, the Museum of Natural History and Science, at the Cincinnati Museum Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.
