Amazon Echo and Harmony Hub - Setup and Integrated Together
The Amazon Echo and Harmony Hub are setup and working together by the end of this tutorial video for your smart home and your smart home entertainment system. By the end of this video, you'll be able to control your TV with your voice using only the Harmony Hub and the Echo, Echo Plus, or Echo Dot.
It doesn't matter if you have an Amazon Echo, Echo Dot, or Echo Plus, your Harmony Hub will integrate and work with your Alexa enabled device. The Harmony skill on Alexa is used to connect these two devices and then you can simply control Netflix or your TV with your voice.
The integration between the Echo Plus, Harmony Hub, and Alexa is impressive when you get right down to it. Any activity you set up on the Harmony Hub will be available on your Echo and through voice control. You'll have to remember to disable and re-enable the Harmony skill, however, in order to have those new activities (or favorite channels) show up again.
Through this video I show you how to connect Echo and Harmony Hub. From there, I show you how to add a channel favorite or a set of channel favorites. I also show you how to update your activities and favorites with your Echo Dot, Echo, or Echo Plus.
In the end, I show you how to control your smart home entertainment system and I hope you love every second of it. I know I love it in my home!
