Lack energy?  Feeling tired all the time?  You may have a zinc deficiency!
Zinc plays a role in digestion.  A deficiency can lead to poor breakdown of foods and subsequent energy generation from that food.  
Additionally, zinc deficiency can cause fatigue by disrupting blood sugar.  Zinc is necessary to form insulin.  The hormone insulin is critical for regulation of blood sugar and subsequently, energy production.  

Zinc is also essential to form hemoglobin in red blood cells, and a deficiency can contribute to anemia, low energy, and fatigue.
