DUBROVNIK OLD TOWN (FOOD TOUR)

In the Dubrovnik Old Town, you are spoiled for choice when it comes to restaurants.  In this food tour of Dubrovnik, we show you the places we tried for coffee, breakfast, lunch, gelato, wine, and dinner.  

In the Old Town of Dubrovnik, there are plenty of terraces to enjoy coffee.  We chose a cafe called Kamenice.  It is located close to the Jesuit Stairs and Old Town Market.  They didn't serve breakfast, so they recommended we go to the bakery around the corner for croissants.  

For breakfast, we highly recommend Gradska kavana Arsenal Restaurant.  We loved the views of the Old Town Port.  This restaurant has one of the most charming outdoor seating areas in Dubrovnik. It's the perfect place for breakfast.

For lunch, we had delicious seafood sandwiches at the family-run restaurant called Barba.  It's located on a side street off Stradun.  The Dubrovnik fast food joint has fresh octopus and salmon sandwiches.

After lunch, we recommend trying gelato.  We tried two places during our time in Dubrovnik.  Dolce Vita, know for their crepes and Peppino's.  The place to go for gelato is Peppino's. I'm still thinking about how good the gelato was there.

D'Vino Wine Bar is another must try place in Dubrovnik.  They have a really nice house red.  They also do wine tastings if you want to sample Croatian wine.

For dinner, we ate at Gourmet.  Because of Dubrovnik's location on the sea, we recommend trying seafood.  We had nice black ink risotto and tuna steak at Gourmet.
