Farmers' protest: Top Agro Scientist Ashok Gulati explains issues with MSP legal guarantee demand

Top Agro Scientist Ashok Gulati, on February 15, raised concerns about the MSP legal guarantee demand of the protesting farmers. Talking to ANI, Ashok Gulati said, “As far as MSP is concerned, making it a legal obligation can create many complexities in the system.” “Government should provide economic support to farmers during market crashes, such as price stabilization funds or bonus payments,” he further said.
