The project is part of Pen to Print: Real People, Real Stories which aims to support aspiring writers and artists in Barking and Dagenham.
The project is due to run until 31 December 2016. and include such activities at creative writing classes, author events, creative writing competitions and ReadFest 2016 in September 2016.
New for 2016 is the Video Bite Booth travelling around the borough recording 'Bites' of Videos of local people’s memories, singing, talking about Barking and Dagenham reading Poems or performing short drama pieces to our Video Booth.
