Forty Six & 2 (TOOL) - Using Adam Jones Guitar! - 46&2 Guitar Cover

This is my first Guitar
This is my first Guitar Cover using my new Gibson Adam Jones Signature Les Paul that Mr Adam Jones and Mr Cesar Gueikian (Gibson) gifted to me just recently! I want the first song to be very special and that's why I decided to play Forty Six & 2 from the Album Ænima (1996). The reason this song is very special is because 46&2 was the second Tool song I had ever learnt when I was about 7 years old. I still remember those days when I newly discovered Tool and I was going through the wonderful experience of discovering so many amazing Tool songs one after another. The first song I ever heard was Pneuma and that is also the first Tool song I started to play on my guitar. While I was learning Pneuma, I discovered 46&2. When that happened, I couldn't wait to finish learning Pneuma because I really wanted to learn 46&2 too very soon. Because that's how amazing this song is.
When I first heard 46 & 2, I thought it was going to be very easy and quick. But as I progressed into the song, everything I thought it would be was wrong! First of all, I love the amazing change of how all of a sudden the gain goes up and it gives such a shock like a sudden 'slap on the face'! That's one of my most favourite bits in this song. I also really love how everything changes from here on. Another thing, I NEVER knew that the bridge in this song was so hard to play! Honestly I don't even know what I thought about the bridge! But I do remember how shocked I was with the guitar on my hand, seeing the cover and thinking "How on Earth am I going to play this bridge without getting confused!?" And from there on, it feels like it is a different song.
Once I started practicing it a lot and getting used to it, I started figuring out the effects and it took me sometime too. At that time I didn't have the PodGo Multi Effects Pedal so I was using the effects my Amp had. But now looking back at it, I don't know how I did everything at that time!
So, ofcourse it was hard for me at the time also because it was only the second Tool song I learnt but now, I am glad I didn't do the cover and I could save this for my new guitar!! (Also I didn't know I would get a guitar by the Legend Adam Jones himself, but I am happy I can do it now.)
So yeah, it's a very special song on a very special guitar!
