Subdivision in Land Surveying: Cadastral Subdivision 2022.

Subdivision is the act of dividing land into pieces that are easier to sell or otherwise develop, usually via a plat. This is a common practice in Cadastral survey, when there is a need to get more pieces of land from a particular piece of land.
