Roger Federer - Come Back Stronger (HD) is my new video, I hope you enjoy it!
It's a summary of the tough year that Roger had. 2016 started pretty good with the final in Brisbane (even though he had a cold) and the Semifinals in Melbourne. But after the Australian Open things got worse and worse..first he had to undergo knee surgery which cost him the tournaments in Rotterdam and Dubai, second when he was planning his comeback he had to withdraw from Miami due to a stomach virus. So after being nearly 2 1/2 months away from tennis his first competitive match was in Monte Carlo and then later on in Rome. But soon after he was again forced to withdraw from a Masters 1000 event (Madrid) and even more disappointing from the French Open due to a back injury.
He returned in time for the upcoming European grass court swing, Rogers favorite part of the year, with tournaments in Stuttgart and Halle before heading to Wimbledon. At SW19 he reached the Semifinals, falling short to Raonic.
Then he dropped a bombshell, announcing that he needs more extensive rehabilitation following his knee surgery earlier this year and will therefore miss the rest of the 2016 season. The doctors advised him that if he wants to play on the ATP World Tour injury free for another few years he must give his knee and body proper time to recover.
