vid. shows how to make a "Solar Panel Powered" 200W 12V DC Air Heater! this unit has 2 fans, 2 heating elements and 2 switches and it's all mounted on a homemade "slanted" stand! great for use as a desktop air heater. output temps: over 120F(50C) *with solar panel in full sun. *avg. home furnace output temp 110F-140F. runs on either 100 or 200 watts (full power). wind speed/tinsel tests, temp readings, and instructions on how to build it are all included in the vid. if you've got the solar panel(s) or a 12V battery, you've got free heat all day long! interesting note: these units are made with a PTC heating element. in short, they automatically pull more power (or allow more amps to flow) when the element senses colder air and restricts the flow when it's warmer (making for relatively consistent output temps). in a previous video i showed a single unit heater (no stand or switches - just the heater). if interested, i'll post the video link below. i also listed links below to the heater/fan module. note: price fluctuates weekly on those units. i've seen them from $7 to $12. switches used are rated 12amp 125vac. i buy them  in "10 packs" on amazon for about 5 bucks. i recommend using the round ones (versus rectangular) because they're easier to mount. (it's harder to drill a square hole). the brown wire i used is just wire from a standard indoor extension cord. (rated about 13 amps 120vac). solder used is rosen core and lead-free. if you like the vid. please rate subscribe (click bell) and share.

*they seem to be rising (near doubling) the prices of the PTC heater/fan *as winter approaches (look around for best price). here is a link to the cheapest one i can find ($12) https://www.amazon.com/Constant-Tempe...

finally, here are some detailed "ramblings" on the heater. these heaters will technically put out full temps 120F(50C) and more in temps down to 23F per manufacturer. at this level it will draw the full 10 amps (or close to it). 100 watt solar panels often have a 6 or 7 amp rating - so for full output temps in air temps below maybe 40 or 45F - you might need to add an extra panel (50 to 100 watt panel) *if maximum temps are desired. if air temps are 40F or higher, then the heaters element doesn't need more amps than a 100w panel produces, so each heater module should give you max. temps. note: if you choose not to add an extra panel the unit will still work but it will probably output temps in the 100-105-110F range. again this is because the heater self-adjusts and pulls more amps when room air temp is colder. if you run this off a 12v battery (or 12v battery bank) then the unit will pull the amps that it needs even if it's 23F.
