تو شاہِ خوباں تو جان
تو شاہِ خوباں تو جان ِ جاناں
You are the greatest king, you are the life of the world.
ہےچہرہ اُم الکتاب تیرا
Your face is the mother of books (Qura’an).
یا رسول اللہ ﷺ او میرے آقا ﷺ ، زہرہ کے بابا ﷺ، حسنین کے ناناﷺ
O Allah’s prophet! O my master! Zehra’s father, Hasnain’s grandfather
تو شاہِ خوباں تو جان ِ جاناں
You are the greatest king, you are the life of the world.
ہےچہرہ اُم الکتاب تیرا
Your face is the mother of books (Qura’an).
نہ بن سکی ہے نہ بن سکے گا
There neither could be, nor will be
مثال تیری جواب تیرا
Example like yours, majesty like yours.
مُل لیندی نہ یوسف نوں، خود آپے وک جاندی
Rather buying Yousuf, she herself got sold metaphoric
تک لیندی زلیخا جے تصویر محمد ﷺ بھی او کیندی
If Zulaikha happened to see Muhammad’s sight, she would say
نہ بن سکی ہے نہ بن سکے گا
There neither could be, nor will be
مثال تیری جواب تیرا
Example like yours, majesty like your
دلدار بڑے آئے محبوب بڑے دیکھے
Many lovers came, many beloved came,
سب دیکھے مگر تیرے قدموں میں پڑے دیکھے میں نے
I saw all of them surrendering in your feet.
نہ بن سکی ہے نہ بن سکے گا
There neither could be, nor will be
مثال تیری جواب تیرا
example like yours, majesty like yours.
جنّت بھی انہی کی ہے کوثر بھی انہی کی ہے
Jannah is also his, Kauthar (the holy pond) is also his.
سچ پوچھو تو اللہ کی رحمت بھی انہی کی ہے
If you ask the truth, Allah’s blessing is also his.
ہے دونوں جہاں یاروں جاگیر محمد ﷺ کی
Both the worlds are Muhammad’s belongings.
مثال تیری جواب تیرا
Example like yours, majesty like yours.
تو شاہِ خوباں تو جان ِ جاناں
You are the greatest king, you are the life of the world.
ہےچہرہ اُم الکتاب تیرا
Your face is the mother of books (Qura’an).
خدا کی غیرت نےڈال رکھےہیں تجھ پہ ستر ہزار پردے
The honor of Allah has covered you with 70000 covers.
جہاں میں لاکھوں ہی طور بنتے جو اک بھی اٹھتا حجاب تیرا
If your face had been uncovered, many mountains would have become Toor.
تو شاہِ خوباں تو جان ِ جاناں

Your face is the mother of books (Qura’an).
لمیں تیرے حسنِ بیاں کے صدقے ،میں تیری میٹھی زباں کے صدقے
I die upon the beauty of your talk. I die upon the sweetness of your tongue.
جو نور بن کر دلوں میں اترا ہے کتنا دلکش خطاب تیرا
Which has entered hearts as Noor. How excellent is your way of talking!
تو شاہِ خوباں تو جان ِ جاناں

ہےچہرہ اُم الکتاب تیرا
Your face is the mother of books (Qura’an).
ہے تو بھی صائم عجیب انساں جو خوفِ محشر سے ہے ہراساں
O Saim! You are such a strange person that you fear Mehshar (Doom’s day).
ارے تو جن کی ہے نعت سنتا ، ارے تو جن کی ہے نعت لکھتا ،
To whose Naat you listen to, to whose Naat you write,
ارے تو جن کی ہے نعت پڑھتا وہی رکھیں گے حجاب تیرا
To whose Naat you listen to, will keep your secrets.
تو شاہِ خوباں تو جان ِ جاناں
