If you are planning a trip to Mangalore and Udupi, please watch this video till the end without skipping. In this video, I am going to share the details of places in and around Mangalore and Udupi which I covered during my 3 days trip from Bengaluru. We covered 1000 km in 3 days and visited 21 places. Less time more places. Let’s start. Welcome back to another episode of Tint & Travel.
First, in the list is Sringeri. Sringeri is a hill town in the Chikkamagaluru district. Located 320 km from Bengaluru and 107 km from Mangalore. It is the site of the first matha (Sringeri Sharada Peetham) established by Adi Sankara in the 8th century, located on the banks of river Tunga. This town houses very famous and old temples of Sri Sharadamba, Sri Vidyasankara, Sri Malahanikeswara, and other deities.
Second, in the list is Seethanadi. When we travel 40 km from Sringeri towards Udupi, after passing through the Agumbe ghat session, you can locate this place. The river originates near Narasimha Parvatha and passes through Agumbe forests and flows near Hebri, Barkur, and joins the Suvarna river, before joining the Arabian sea. This is a very beautiful place where you can pit stop for enjoying the beauty of Seethanadhi and clicking few memorable photographs. I found this place enjoyable.
