Ilaiyaraja, the ingenious Tamil composer with an illustrious reputation is a stunner. He is a man who filled our lives in every possible way. He made music for every emotion we felt, or could possibly ever feel. The legendary musician Ilayaraja revolutionized the music industry with his versatile trademark style music in South film industry as well as in Bollywood. An Ilayaraaja number is overshadowed only by another Ilayaraja number!
Salil Chowdhury, affectionately known as 'Salilda' to millions of his admirers was one of the greatest musical talents India ever had, a man of many talents. Every composition he made revealed a new face of the composer with different patterns. The wonderful songs of Pratheeksha along with the composer Salil Chowdhury became widely known in Kerala. Salil formed a phenomenal team with the lyricist Vayalar and the poet ONV Kurup and composed music for over 25 Malayalam Films. Salil being a composing exponent, he even sensed the talent of a guitarist who played in his orchestra and uttered that, "I think he’s going to be the best composer in India". The guitarist eventually turned out to be Maestro Ilaiyaraaja.
