Crust ingredients:
200g crushed graham crackers
1 stick butter/margarine, melted
1 tbsp Milo powder
Cheesecake:
226g cream cheese, softened at room temp.
3/4 cup white sugar
1 1/2 cups Milo powder
2 tbsp gelatin, clear & unflavored
1/4 cup hot water
740ml all purpose cream, chilled overnight
Milo glaze:(optional)
1 cup evaporated milk
1/4 cup milo powder
1/4 cup white sugar
1 tbsp cornstarch
2-3 tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 tbsp butter/margarine
Toppings:
1/2 cup Milo Powder(more if needed)
Procedure:
1) Crust: Combine crushed grahams, melted butter and Milo powder. Mix well
2) Press graham mixture into the spring form pan and pack it tightly
3) Chill for 30min. or until ready to use
4) Cheesecake: Combine cream cheese, white sugar and Milo powder. Mix well
5) Dissolve gelatin with hot water. Mix well and set aside
6) Whip cream on high speed until doubled in size
7) Add cream cheese mixture and mix it well
8) Add dissolved gelatin and mix it well
9) Pour cheesecake mixture onto the crust
10)Cover and chill overnight
11)Milo Glaze: In a pan combine evaporated milk, milo powder, white sugar, cornstarch and cocoa powder
12)Turn the heat on and cook over low heat until it thickens. Stir continuously
13)Add butter and mix it well. Cool completely
14)Remove cheesecake from the pan
15)Spread Milo glaze on top
16)Add Milo powder toppings
