Waggler Fishing for Roach & Bream at Elvington Fisheries York

In this episode I visit Elvington Fisheries just outside York to target some of the quality winter roach that we've been enjoying some great sport with over recent weeks.
The plan was to fish waggler to take a break from the long pole and have a relaxing day pleasure fishing. As an alternative approach I setup a 5 metre whip to try and catch short in 9ft of water and opted for a punch crumb and bread punch approach. Unfortunately this line didn't produce.
The waggler line was fished at a comfortable range to feed by catapult into approximately 10-11ft of water. The better stamp roach didn't seem to want to feed after a hard frost the night before but thankfully the skimmers were having it!
I spent too long filming stuff I didn't really need and both of the camera batteries and my phone went flat as we went to weigh in at the end of the day so I apologise for not getting any footage, a mistake I will try to avoid in future.
