Cognitive Appraisal of Stress – Acute Stress Management for Healthcare Trainees Part 3

How do our brains assess stress? We look at a model, the threat-challenge appraisal, to help us understand when stressors are viewed as challenges which stimulate us, and when stressors are viewed as threats, which overwhelm us.
