A TV, low budget, gender-swapped 90’s rehash of the original that was meant to kick off a new ‘Omen’ franchise, but failed.

#TheFinalConflict (1981)
Sam Neill brings a touch of class as an older, more sinister Damien, but the film gets bogged down in its subplots, and the intrigue surrounding the Antichrist no longer exists.

A modern retelling of the original film, but bar a few additional dream sequences, almost shot-for-shot identical - and not quite as effective as the 1976 film.

A 12-year-old Damien begins to embrace his destiny as the Antichrist whilst attending military school. Chaos ensues, with some memorable deaths to boot.

A surprisingly solid prequel with all the hallmarks of an ‘Omen’ film, topped off with a formidable performance from Nell Tiger Free.

The original and still the best - still as disturbing as it is shocking, with top performances from Gregory Peck, Lee Remick and David Warner.
