With a junior season world
With a junior season world leading nominated total of 875kg. However, earlier in the year, whilst competing at the Powerlifting America Winter Classic meet, USA’s Anthony McNaughton totalled an incredible 900kg, which equates to a one year progression of 4.35%, in parallel to the twenty-two year old season best total of 862.5kg, which he achieved at the 2022 IPF juniors world classic championships.
Also, a 900kg total is currently the second highest 105kg/110kg juniors total in the weight class’s history - second behind Ashton Rouska’s Juniors and former seniors open world record total (check?) of 950.5kg. Subsequently a 900kg total position Anthony at number twelve on the overall all time list of athletes.
