Description:- In this video tutorial of How to Migrate Active Directory From Windows Server 2016 to Windows Server 2019 by kaptechpro, You will learn ad migration from 2016 to 2019 step by step.
In Active Directory Migration from 2016 to 2019, we are migrating domain controllers from server 2016 to server 2019 and later we will demote windows server 2016 domain controller.
In this complete guide to a migration of a windows server 2016, we will transfer fsmo roles to windows server 2019.
Steps of ad migration 2016 to 2019:-
1- Create a server machine and install windows server 2019.
2- On windows server 2016 remove the global catalog server.
3- In windows server 2019 change network properties, Give static IP, and in preferred DNS enter the IP address of windows server 2016.
4- Install ADDS role on server 2019 for migration ADDS.
5- In site and services check replication topology.
6-Check the result and demote windows server 2016 after successful migration.
