Munford's Jordan Bell signs with University of Memphis Football

Three loving siblings, two devoted parents and one town having his back, the countdown for Jordan Bell’s college decision was highly anticipated Dec. 19.
In front of a packed Munford Cafeteria, Bell announced his future football home. Choosing between East Carolina, Memphis and Virginia, Bell went with the school he trusts the most.
“With all the top three schools, they were all good programs and I really love all three of them,” Bell said. “But it came down to one who showed the most love and showed they really cared about me for more than just football. They can take care of me past football.”
Bell announced to the delight of many he is taking his talents to The University of Memphis to play for Head Coach Ryan Silverfield and the Tigers.
Jordan is the youngest child of Andre and Erica Bell. Before Jordan arrived at Munford High School, big brothers Andrea’ and Dominique starred in multiple sports. Big sister Ashley was on the cheerleading squad.
All of them testified to the potential of the youngest Bell.

His first run, he ran with his closed,” Andre recalled. “It was a lot and I was like, ‘Do you really want to do this Jordan? These folks are going to be hitting you.’ Just going from that with his coaches in SYS, Jason and Jeff. They said, ‘We’re going to work with Jordan.’”
Jordan’s SYS Tipton County Chiefs days he was a kicker then running back and eventually quarterback. By the time Bell was graduating the eighth grade, his skill had many schools on notice.
