Note: this video assumes prior experience with heel flap and gusset sock construction. It is not aimed at first-time sock knitters. This video demonstrates how to knit a replaceable heel and heel turn for cuff down heel flap and gusset sock construction. An alternative method is described, as well. The WWII origins of this concept are presented at the end of the video.

Men's Socks by Beehive, Series 62. This is the booklet with more abbreviated instructions at the back of the book, but the socks in the booklet call for using the Aladdin Heel.
Not shown is 939 P&B Aladdin New Socks for Old, published in the UK
