Johnstown is a city of roughly 20,000 at the southern end of Cambria County, 50 miles East of Pittsburgh. It is probably most well known for its history of disastrous floods, most notably the one in 1889 that practically destroyed the entire city. You will notice the vast amount of floodwalls and concrete river channels (one of the largest systems of in the nation) around the confluence of its two main rivers: The Conemaugh River and the Stony Creek River.

It also boasts what they claim is the steepest inclined funicular in the world - steeper than the famous ones in Pittsburgh. There are also a few shots of the linear development throughout the narrow valleys created by the rivers, in the metro area of nearly 140,000.
